Here's all the information you'll need to get your child started with Baysie in 2021.

CLUB LOCATION

Perth Bayswater Rugby Club is located at Pat O'Hara Reserve - Wellington Road, Morley.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

Training: Tuesday & Thursday from 5:15 to 6:30pm at Pat O'Hara Reserve.  These times may vary slightly - please confirm with your Team Manager. 

Games: Played Saturday mornings at various Club grounds.

FIXTURES

The most up to date fixtures are listed in the Rugby Xplorer app or RugbyWA website.

Add Perth Bayswater JRUFC to your Teams list, then select your team under 'Fixtures'.

THE 2021 SEASON WILL BEGIN SATURDAY, 8 MAY.

UNIFORM

Perth Bayswater black and white jersey is provided to all team members. Black shorts and club long socks are available for purchase from behind the bar. Each player also requires their own football boots and mouthguard.

PLEASE NOTE: MOUTH GUARDS ARE COMPULSORY FOR BOTH GAMES AND TRAINING.

WHAT TO BRING/WEAR TO TRAINING

Training gear (such as shorts and t-shirts), socks, football boots (or trainers), MOUTH GUARDS and a bottle of water.

GAME DAY

We ask where possible that all players arrive at their designated field at least 30 mins prior to kick off to warm up and be present for coach instruction – and allows Mum’s and Dad’s to get their hot coffees before the game starts!

ILLNESS/ ABSENCES

Please advise your Team’s Coach or Manager as early as possible if your child is unable to play any games or attend training. It is important that Coaches have has as much notice as possible to find a replacement player if required.

WEATHER – TRAINING AND GAME DAY

Both training and games are played in all weather conditions unless there is lightning present.  Your Team Manager will advise you if any cancellations are necessary.

PARENT CONTRIBUTION

The successful, efficient running of our club requires the participation of our parents.  Each team has a dedicated Coach and Team Manager.  The role of the Team Manager is primarily a communication role – ensuring all team members are informed of fixtures and any relevant changes, communicate and coordinate requirements for designated training dinners, prepare and communicate a game day oranges and lolly roster, complete and submit game sheet via the Rugby Match Day app.

ROSTER OF DUTIES FOR FAMILIES

We understand parents are busy and we aim to keep your involvement easy and manageable.

Orange and lolly roster – A roster will be prepared for each family to contribute cut up oranges/watermelon for half time and a bag of lollies for their team for the end of the game.

Canteen Duty – Each team will be asked to staff the canteen for all Saturday home carnivals held at Pat O'Hara Reserve. Each team will provide canteen volunteers approximately 2-3 times throughout the season.

CODE OF BEHAVIOUR

Perth Bayswater adheres to the club constitution and bylaws, including the code of conduct and supporting member policies.
