LINKS

For further rugby information I recommend the following links, which have been of the most use to me crawling around the anarchic obstacle course that is the Internet.

LOCAL
The Official Rugby WA Home Page

Other W.A. rugby clubs
Christian Sprogie Photography
We recommend ace rugby Photographer Christian Sprogoe. Christian does all the Rugby WA photography, as you can see from his site on www.csfoto.com.au Plus he's a real nice guy too.
Tune in to 90.5 Sport FM and enjoy the dulcet tones of Leon Rurie and his team broadcasting live from the Caravan of Love, on site at Western Australian club and state rugby games. Also webcast on www.sportfm905.com.

Paul Waite's Haka! site is not only the best looking rugby site around but it has live scoring action, heaps of information and brilliant columnists!

Paul Bickerstaff's Rugby Info site at the University of Idaho may be an unlikely place to find rugby information but apart from being one of the original internet rugby sites it has bucket loads of coaching information and explanations of rugby laws.

Ross Finlayson's Rugby World Rankings are arguably the most reliable and sensible rugby rankings around.

MEDIA
Internet only

Owned by the Sydney Morning Herald, Rugby Heaven has good coverage of Australian and international rugby.

British site Sporting Life has masses of rugby and other sports information and is very quick to update.

South Africa's Super Rugby gives Springbok fans the latest news at home and abroad.

The Rugby Club is the place to go for the complete picture of the English domestic club scene.

Planet Rugby has heaps of British and international rugby info including a huge results database — if you can stand the irritating advertising consoles.

Traditional Media

New Zealand's Television One site has first class rugby coverage for the All Blacks and other teams, plus live audio coverage of All Black games.

Australia's Channel Seven don't do rugby any favours but on their site you can find out how much their miserable rugby telecasts are delayed by.

The Foxtel site gives programming details of their wide rugby coverage.

The Radio New Zealand web site gives program details of their shortwave service to the South Pacific, including sports broadcasts.

Radio Australia also have shortwave sports broadcasts to the South Pacific and South-east Asia.

The BBC Radio web site features RealPlayer net broadcasting of sports around the world, including rugby.

New Zealand's Christchurch Press have an on-line alternative to their daily broadsheet, with good coverage of New Zealand rugby.

The Telegraph is probably Britain's most rugby-focused national daily, and their on-line edition is just as good and a lot cheaper.

Enjoy.

Charlie, Conrad and Weed

Links of a different sort at the Perth-Bayswater clubrooms on a Thursday night as first grade flanker and WA amateur boxing champion Charlie Tutuvaha (Nuie Island) and first grade and state flanker Conrad Kovacs (Western Australia) join flyhalf/centre Steve Scholes (New Zealand) for a moment of cameraderie (no, that's not a French cheese) and the odd beer or seventeen.
