FIRST GRADE First round: ARKs 44-3, Wanneroo 23-11, Associates 16-22, Palmyra 7-0, University 9-6, Cottesloe 13-24, Nedlands 9-21, Wests 22-13, Kalamunda 10-9 Second round: ARKs 18-9, Wanneroo 37-21, Associates 19-9, Palmyra 12-33, University 16-15, Cottesloe 4-17, Nedlands 0-42, Wests 14-9, Kalamunda 9-48. Summary: Fifth in competition. First grade dropped off the pace this year, losing to big guns Nedlands and Cottesloe twice each. Losses against Associates in the first round and Palmyra in the second meant Firsts had to win their final game of the year against Kalamunda to make the finals, but they dropped away badly to lose 9-48 and finish fifth in the competition. |

Semi-final: Perth 16 Nedlands 6 Summary: Minor premiers, MAJOR PREMIERS. With just one loss and one draw against them all season, Bill Watt's second grade were minor premiers and favouites for the major premiership,but produced a nervous grand final that was a draw even after 20 minutes extra time. A change in the rules meant a shared premiership -- by all other counts Perth would have been sole premiers. |
| THIRD GRADE Nedlands 15-10, Wanneroo 29-4, Wests 28-6, Curtin 24-14, Rockingham 12-12, Bunbury 16-10, Leeming 22-4, ARKs 6-3, Associates 31-0 Murdoch 20-12, Cottesloe 9-21, Kalamunda 19-0, Palmyra 13-8, bye, University 45-0, Nedlands 12-21, Wanneroo 56-0, Wests 27-0
Semi-final: Perth 17 Nedlands 4 Summary: Minor Premiers, grand finalists. Conceding just two losses and one draw during the season, thirds were minor premiers and won their semi to go straight into the grand final. They came unstuck in the grand final and lost the game with a penalty in the late stages by the narrowest of margins.

Semi-final: Perth 15 Bunbury 9 Summary: Finalists. Fifth in competition. Fourth grade just made it into the finals after a year of mixed results, but then won three in a row before going down to Paly. A credit to the club.

| FIFTH GRADE Nedlands 9-16, bye, University 0-20, Curtin 18-0, Leeming, Palmyra 29-0, Murdoch 20-0, Nedlands 6-20, bye Curtin 12-13, Murdoch 7-37, Nedlands, Palmyra 0-21, University 0-19, Curtin 14-3, Murdoch 0-34, Nedlands 0-23, Palmyra 0-28, University 0-20 Summary: Fifth in a seven team competiton, fifth grade helped to hold up the club's bar profits and played some rugby as well.
