FIRST GRADE

First round: ARKs 30-0, Nedlands 6-16, Palmyra 3-4, Cottesloe 13-33, Kalamunda 6-26, Associates 6-23, University 12-20, Western Suburbs 6-29, Wanneroo 8-0.

Second round: ARKs 23-7, Nedlands 10-39, Palmyra 5-13, Cottesloe 17-20, Kalamunda 23-15, Associates 14-11, University 10-0, Western Suburbs 12-14, Wanneroo 57-3.

Summary: Seventh in competition. With players leaving and few imports, Bill Watt's First Grade faced a torrid year and achieved only two wins in the first round. The team saw some light at the end of the tunnel winning four of their last five games to finish an improving seventh.

SECOND GRADE

First round: ARKs 30-0, Nedlands 14-4, Palmyra 24-9, Cottesloe 0-17, Kalamunda 9-16, Associates 11-12, University 8-4, Western Suburbs 22-12, Wanneroo 31-6.

Second round: ARKs 15-5, Nedlands 3-19, Palmyra 37-0, Cottesloe 0-28, Kalamunda 8-15, Associates 6-21, University, Western Suburbs, Wanneroo 79-3.

Summary: Fifth in competition. Kerry Kotua's second grade enjoyed a good first round to finish in the top four, but lost a couple of close ones in the second round to narrowly miss the finals on percentages.

THIRD GRADE

ARKs 12-17, Nedlands 14-19, Palmyra 11-6, Leeming 0-13, Cottesloe 7-4, Murdoch 0-9, Curtin 0-34, University, Wanneroo 3-21, Associates 11-19, Kalamunda 13-29, Rockingham 0-42, Western Suburbs 12-0, ARKs 9-10, Nedlands, Palmyra, Leeming, Cottesloe.

Summary: Twelfth in competition (14 teams). The whole club suffered from lack of depth in 1992 and Peter Westaway's third grade struggled all year, to finish third from bottom.

FOURTH GRADE

ARKs 10-6, Nedlands 18-8, Palmyra 10-17, Leeming 10-17, Cottesloe 4-10, Murdoch 0-38, Curtin 19-12, Bunbury 0-33, Wanneroo 11-15, Associates 0-63, Kalamunda 10-3, Rockingham 0-24, Western Suburbs 3-40, ARKs 5-0, Nedlands, Palmyra, Leeming, Cottesloe.

Summary: Eleventh in competition (14 teams). Steve Laws fourth grade also reflected the low playing numbers and gamely kept on competing all season to finish fourth from bottom.

FIFTH GRADE

University 0-25, Nedlands 20-0, University 4-3, Curtin 14-0, Associates 8-13, Rockingham 9-16, Mount Lawley 30-4, Murdoch 18-19, Bunbury draw, University draw, Curtin 27-3, Associates 19-5, Rockingham 37-5, Mount Lawley 36-0, Murdoch 10-0, Bunbury 13-3, University 25-8, Curtin 59-5.

Semi-final: Murdoch 12-16
Preliminary final: Associates 12-9
Grand Final: Murdoch 3-10.

Summary: Minor Premiers, Grand Finalists. After an indifferent start, the collection of misfits and drunks who made up fifth grade got it right in the second round and stormed home to win the minor premiership in the last game. They lost the first semi-final, won the preliminary final but lost a low-scoring grand final. A triumph for "coach" Barry Guzder and his team of alcoholics.

COLTS

First round: Associates 0-27, Nedlands 25-4, Palmyra 10-0, Cottesloe 9-13, Kalamunda 30-0, Rockingham 18-0, University 23-20, Western Suburbs 19-23, Wanneroo 48-3.

Second round: Associates, Nedlands 7-27, Associates 6-36, Wanneroo 25-0, Palmyra 35-0, Cottesloe 24-7, Kalamunda 26-17, Western Suburbs 8-5, Uviversity 6-6.

Semi-final: Cottesloe 11-27.

Summary: Fourth in competition, semi-finalists. Arch Arthey's colts had a good first round and were third after losing just three games. With four losses and a draw they dropped back to fourth by the end of the second round, and lost their semi-final against Cottesloe.
