Summary: Minor premiers, Finalists. Perth-Bayswater had every chance this year, losing just two games during the competition to win the minor premiership. Ron Rae's first grade built their success on a powerful forward pack, with devastating forward power in the loose. The team lost belief in themselves in the finals and stumbled to two losses after a year of great success.

SECOND GRADE
First round: Perth 65 Palmyra 6, Perth 34 Associates 0, Perth 27 Western Suburbs 6, Perth 32 Nedlands 26, Perth 56 Rockingham 0, Perth 57 Kalamunda 3, Perth 48 ARKs 6, Perth 32 University 5, Perth 21 Cottesloe 19

Second round: Perth 24 Palmyra 3, Perth 70 Associates 8, Perth 75 Western Suburbs 3, Perth 15 Nedlands 15, Perth 77 Rockingham 6, Perth 49 University 3, Perth 79 ARKs 0, Perth 34 Kalamunda 3, Perth 34 Cottesloe 0.

Major Semi-final: Perth 44 Cottesloe 0.
Grand Final: Perth lost to Nedlands.

Summary: Minor Premiers, Grand Finalists. The Perth syndrome struck again for Steve Ngamanu's second grade. Seconds completed the competition without loss and wrapped up the minor premiership with some dazzling rugby and some big scores. They raced into the grand final and came unstuck at the final hurdle to lose a close and awkward game. Congratulations to Steve Ngamanu and his team for a great year and commiserations for a disappointing conclusion.

Major Semi-Final: Perth 24 Murdoch 15.
Grand Final: Perth defeated Cottesloe.

Summary: Second in competition, Major Premiers. A stunning result for Mike Jones' third grade. Unable to field a third grade in 1994, Perth-Bayswater bounced back to finish second in third grade in 1995, and won through to the grand final. Thirds stormed to a hard-fought win over Cottesloe in the Grand Final, earning the club's only major premiership for the year.

FOURTH GRADE

Summary: Third in competition, semi-finalists. Andy Keen's fourth grade performed well for the club all year and finished third, but fell to an improving Cottesloe side in the semi-final.

FIFTH GRADE
Perth 25 Palmyra 0, Perth 0 Associates 20, Perth 10 Western Suburbs 25, Perth 7 Nedlands 28, Perth 10 Rockingham 7, Perth 0 Midland 26, Perth 3 ARKs 8, Perth 13 University 5, Perth 10 Murdoch 3

Perth 25 Wanneroo 12, Perth 18 Associates 16, Perth 3 Western Suburbs 11, Perth 0 Nedlands 3, Perth 3 Rockingham 10, Perth 0 University 40, Perth 0 ARKs 21, Perth 29 Murdoch 14, Perth 0 Wanneroo 10.

Summary: Seventh in competition. Kelly Westaway's Filthy Fifths enjoyed their traditional mixed season of rugby and alcohol, playing well at home with full teams, and losing away with short numbers. In the process they saved the committee a lot of money by avoiding the traditional shouted keg when all club teams won on the day.

COLTS
Perth 10 Palmyra 5, Perth 3 Cottesloe 10, Perth 60 Leeming 0, Perth 14 Nedlands 13, Perth 20 Wanneroo 0, Perth 46 Kalamunda 0, Perth 23 ARKs 0, Perth 8 Murdoch 18, Perth 10 University 10.

Summary: Seventh in competition. Ray Salmons worked hard all year to provide a functioning colts team but they were often short of numbers and experience. Well done to the lads who turned out week after week.
